Jason and I met through some mutual friends. We were set up on a blind date. I had pretty much given up on finding a decent man. I had a girl friend, Margarita, that worked with me at CITI who was dating a guy, Roy. Her boyfriend had a roommate who was single and had pretty much given up on finding a decent girl. After another round of my adventures in first dates, Margarita said that she was going to pass my number onto Jason. After a lengthy and intense interrogation from Roy, my number was passed on to Jason along with my picture. We spent the first month simply talking over the phone and becoming friends. We would spend many evenings just passing back and forth stories from our past. I feel that it created a foundation of friendship that has extended through our relationship. Our first date was at a Mongolian Barbeque that was recommended by my roomate. We laughed over our meal and enjoyed being in each others presence for the first time. We have pretty much been unseperatable ever since. Jason brings a since of order to my life that was much needed. I enjoy learning to be ate a slower pace as well as learning to make plans. I have introduced Jason to enjoying life. I have taught him to go with the flow more and find blessings in everything. We are opposites that compliment each other beautifully. I hope to be still learning to think ahead in our golden years while teaching Jason to enjoy the ride.
