Brian and I met years ago when we were in high school from our friend Jackie. She invited us to a barbecue at her house and that was the official day we met. Unfortunately, our time together seemed short so I was sad when I had to leave. A couple of days later my mom said that someone was on the phone for me. I picked up the phone and it was my Brian. We talked for quite some time planning the next barbecue at Jackie's house or the next place where we could get together and hang out. Over the next years we wrote letters to each other, called each other and occasionally saw each other since we went our separate ways after high school. For some reason if we ended up losing touch, one of us would find a way to get back in touch with the other. We eventually went on to college. During the holidays, we both made our way back home to spend time with our families and would get together to catch up. We went our separate ways again and over time we both realized what we really wanted in life. One night, I decided to pick up the phone and tell him exactly how I felt. That night we spent hours talking and ever since then, we have been happily in love! |
